Institutional Research & Studies' mission is to provide management information and decision support in addition to ensuring that SIUC is in compliance with all state, federal and accrediting agencies reporting requirements.

IR&S reports directly to the Provost at Southern Illinois University Carbondale but works closely with the entire SIUC community to provide critical information to foster timely decision-making.
